Injured, Wu Bosong has to pull out of the swimming competition. Xiaoxi is determined to study hard so that she can follow Jiang Chen to Beijing.

Jingxiao visits Lu Yang at the hospital to help him with school work. Jiang Chen's mom disapproves of his decision to give up on Tsinghua University.

After bumping into Xiaoxi again three years later, Jiang Chen helps arrange for her dad's surgery and prepares to win her back.
